Bebco Model WAC & WHP Wall Mount Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps for corrosive and hazardous locations feature separated condenser and evaporator compartments.  The housing design maximizes structural integrity while maintaining the smallest size and lightest weight possible.

Installation preparation requires ensuring you have sufficient structural support and two fully framed openings for the return and discharge openings of the Unit. 

Installation requires mounting top and bottom flange support brackets to your wall, which come attached to the rear side of the units.  Then, after hanging Units on these brackets, the two vertical flanges on each side of the Unit may be attached to your wall surface.  

All Units are provided with pre-installed gaskets to seal the supply and discharge openings to your building surface, and the edges of Unit’s mounting flanges may be caulked to achieve additional sealing, aesthetics and corrosion resistance.

Our ETL approved designs ensure both compartments meet specific but separate Classification Ratings.

As a result, we can offer a wide range of cost effective solutions,
so you pay only for what you need!

Bebco Model WAC & WHP Wall Mount Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps for corrosive and hazardous locations feature separated condenser and evaporator compartments.  They are stacked vertically in a common housing with discharge and return openings that recirculate cooled or heated air within your room or building.  Most importantly, they feature a sold barrier between the compartments that allow us to classify these compartments separately.

Bebco Express Series WAC and WHP Wall Mount Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps may be furnished with your preference of our pre-wired Smart Grille™ Controls or field-connected Wall Mounted Controls.

Our Custom Series Units may also be provided with a Smart Snouts™.   This special feature requires only one large cutout and provides you with interior access to all electrical components.

We also provide Custom Control Panels for Express or Custom Series Units. These panels provide all controls for multiple units and special functions like pressurization, ventilation and filtration, along with lead-lag, emergency ventilation, N+1 or redundancy controls in one easily accessible location.

NFPA 496 Pressurization &
API RP-500 Ventilation System Air Intakes

In most cases, with only a limited number of exceptions, these housing may be mounted on the left or right side of you unit to best accommodate your preference for location of the air intake.  To ensure equivalent corrosion resistance, they will be proved in the same material and finish you select for your Unit, and also include an easily removable washable filter.

As an alternative, Custom Series Units may feature opposing side Air Inlet Flanges.  Model FDC Flex Duct Connectors may then be utilized in place of intake housings to supply fresh air from a Model DUP Dual Unit Pressurizer.

Indoor Air Distribution Plenums

As a dynamic enhancement, all Bebco Model WAC and WHP Air Conditioner and Heat Pump Unit Discharge Ports may be joined and connected to overhead plenums as preferred to distribute air evenly throughout large areas or multiple rooms.
