1.5 Ton Unit Pressurizer

This 1.5 Ton Pre-Manufactured Economy Grade Case Air Conditioner features externally mounted NEMA 7 electrical controls on the left side and a filtered air intake housing on the right side. Within the evaporator compartment, the unit features a motor and blower wheel assembly that draws air from the air intake housing.

The motor operates at variable speeds to provide quiet and stable pressurization when building doors are closed. The motor then ramps up to full speed with an optional delay for easy egress when building doors are opened, to meet the 60 feet per minute velocity requirement of NFPA 496.

This unit also features a Bebco Smart Grille™ (see Operator Interfaces) that features the unit’s operator interface controls, along with a large color-coded room pressure indicator to permit easy monitoring of the building pressurization process, much like our stand-alone world-class Whisper Drive™ Building Pressurization Systems!

2 Ton Unit Pressurizer

This 2 Ton Pre-Manufactured Economy Grade Case Air Conditioner was manufactured early in our history and features open face controls accessible from the rear side, a filtered air intake housing on the left side and a motor and blower wheel assembly identical to the 1.5 Ton Unit, that draws air from the air intake housing.

While this particular Unit was manufactured prior to our inclusion of wire duct to further improve the ergonomic value and serviceability of our products, it’s been performing flawlessly for just over 4 years, and as shown in the inset image to the top left, the motor and blower wheel assembly along with a variable frequency drive (VFD) in an explosion proof enclosure is accessed from the return air grill. As preferred by a majority of clients, the VFD is the key to quiet and efficient pressurization, without the potential overpressure issues associated with manually adjusted constant speed blowers.

4 Ton Dual Unit Pressurizer

This Dual 4 Ton Pre-Manufactured Economy Grade Case Air Conditioner serves as a great example of how Bebco can easily modify an economical product to produce a truly industrial-duty product! As shown in the top right image, this unit features a Bebco Smart Snout™ with all operator interface controls located in the access panel between the supply and return grills, along with all electronic control components located in the compartment behind the door to simplify installation and service.

The unit then features a common top air intake stack flange connection and gas phase chemical filtration system, located above the pressurization blower compartment on the rear side, as shown in the left inset unit image. 7.5 Ton Dual Unit Pressurizer

This massive Dual 7.5 Ton Commercial Grade Case Air Conditioner is manufactured with a stainless steel seal-welded frame, along with stainless steel pans, panels and doors to create a phenomenal product! Like the Dual 4 Ton Unit featured in the previous example, this unit also features a Smart Snout™ and a gas phase chemical filtration system, along with a common top air intake stack flange connection. However, to accommodate the high airflow requirement for the switchgear building it serves, this unit features two motorized impellers, as opposed to the more conventional motor and blower wheel assemblies shown in the first 3 examples.

The impellers are self-contained chassis assemblies that slide into rails located just under the gas phase chemical filtration system compartment. Extraction requires the removal of 4 bolts and the power cord to each impeller is sufficient to permit easy inspection!

12.5 Ton Unit Pressurizer

This 12.5 Ton Bebco Economy Grade Case Air Conditioner features a powder-coated finish and a fixed rear controls enclosure that exemplify Bebco’s visions of durability and servicability. This unit mimics pre-manufactured units, but is built with more robust features, including nut certs in place of clip on spring steel screw retainers, and features a unique grille design that improves overall performance of the condenser!

As the close-up image reveals, this unit features an external pressurization system in a stainless steel housing that features a stack flange for fresh air intake, an air filter and an externally mounted motor. This arrangement leaves ample room for our new enclosed control case, but still provides the same ultra-quiet energy efficient variable speed pressurization effect that Bebco first introduced to the market in the 1980s. 3 Ton Unit Ventilator

This 3 Ton Economy Grade Case Air Conditioner features a stainless steel filtered air intake housing with an internally mounted blower motor. The intake housing features a washable filter and side air intake port for connection to a fresh air stack that draws fresh air into the evaporator compartment to accomplish 6 air changes per hour in accordance with API 500 Recommended Practices.

While it appears similar to a variable speed pressurization system, it performs as a ventilation unit that will draw fresh air from a location far above the analyzer building it is intended to protect. 8 Ton Unit Ventilator

This 8 Ton Commercial Grade Case Air Conditioner features a seal-welded stainless steel frame along with stainless steel pans, panels and doors to provide an extremely robust housing. To provide ventilation, the unit is equipped with an external bottom filtered air intake housing with a top mounted external blower motor.

The intake housing features an internal blower wheel that draws fresh air into the evaporator compartment to accomplish 5 air changes per hour in accordance with API 500 Recommended Practices. In addition to the ventilation system, this unit also features a Bebco Smart Snout ™ and a unique client specified coil coating. To compliment this unit, Bebco furnished two 12 inch square barometric dampers with stainless steel screened rain hoods to permit proper ventilation.

10 Ton Unit Ventilator

This 10 Ton Commercial Grade Case Air Conditioner features a highly advanced variable speed ventilation system. The external ventilation housing features a filtered air intake and top mounted motor. The internal blower wheel draws in fresh air, regulated by a combination of an automatically adjusted louver inside the unit and variable speed drive.

By design, the ventilation system is capable of maintaining a minimal volume of air changes during normal operation, but upon detection of combustible gases, the louver opens fully, the variable speed drive ramps up to full speed, and the air conditioner is shutdown, until a safe condition within the building is reestablished! This arrangement of filtration and blowers accomplishes two primary goals to first completely scrub make-up air and then pressurize a switchgear building. The adsorbent media cartridges represent an advancement in efficiency and convenience and serve as an alternate to traditional deep-bed adsorbent media trays. Bebco Smart Grilles™ are innovative return air grilles intended for pre-manufactured economy grade case and Bebco manufactured economy grade case wall mount air conditioners and heat pumps. As an operator interface solution offered exclusively by Bebco, Smart Grilles™ contain return air filters along with all unit controls that are pre-wired and pre-fitted with pneumatic tubes as required to form a bundled harness.

When the unit is fully secured to your exterior wall surface, technicians simply mount the Smart Grille™ to the interior wall surface, connect the bundled harness’s cable connectors and tubing to the connection module located just inside the return opening, connect power, and your unit becomes fully functional!

The coils of Economy and Commercial Grade Units we manufacture from the ground up at Bebco are suspended individually after careful cleaning, and they are fully coated from all angles to ensure a total protective seal. Our unique painting racks elevate the coils in such a manger, regardless of size, to permit thorough coating and inspection process in real time, thus saving time and money, despite the extremely high level of quality we are able to achieve!

Tubing is then brush coated after the entire refrigerant system is installed in the unit housing, following by equally rigid quality assurance process.
