Flexible Power Cords
– Provided with all Model TAC & THP Units
As a unique benefit of selecting Bebco Model TAC and THP Through Wall Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps, your Units will feature flexible power cords, properly rated for your application! They also allow you to power these Units using a standard or Division 2 rated receptacle or disconnect switch!
Units equipped with Basic, Eco Cool™ and Eco Pump™ Controls will feature a 3-6 feet long ordinary location cord with a three prong plug. Units equipped with Smart Cool™ and Smart Pump™ Controls will feature a 6 feet long Class I, Division 2 rated marine grade cord. These cords are suitable for use with a Class I, Division 2 rated plug and receptacle assembly or a power disconnect switch, such as the Bebco Model EDS-30-3.
Advanced Condensate Control Systems
– Provided with most Bebco Through Wall Units
A Condensate Control System is featured on most Bebco Through Wall Model TAC Air Conditioners and Model THP Heat Pumps. The system is formed as a long loop of hot gas refrigerant tubing that lies flat in the bottom of the chassis condensation pan.
This tubing is pre-heated by hot refrigerant gas as it returns from the evaporator and enters the pan. This hot loop of tubing boils condensate as it collects in the pan; and the resulting water vapor is dissipated by the condenser blower and discharged to the surrounding environment.

Indelible Exterior Labels & Vinyl Interior Labels
– Provided with all Bebco Hazardous Area Rated Units
Bebco produces all exterior and interior product labels in-house, to ensure maximum durability and quality. Production of exterior labels begins with development of high-resolution graphic art, application of solid color film layers to transfer the graphic onto 3M™ 8B35 Lexan™ 10 mil Matte Finish Sheeting. 3M™ VHB™ High Bond Industrial Duty double-sided tape is then applied to the rear surface of sheeting.
The result is a totally indelible label which is not only highly resistant to most chemicals, but also UV and water resistant, to ensure our labels never fade, peel or become illegible! Vinyl labels are produced with the same equipment but are utilized only to label internal devices.

Industrial Grade Wire Termination Ferrules & Lugs
– Provided with all Bebco Hazardous Area Rated Units
Bebco utilizes crimped wire ferrules, ring lugs, spade lugs, female quick disconnect lugs and multi-pin plugs to provide high-quality industrial duty wiring terminations on all Bebco Hazardous Area Through Wall Air Conditioner and Heat Pump Units.
The result is positive continuity, durable wiring connections and years of trouble-free service. In particular, our wire ferrules eliminate potential stranded wire shorts and end frays and simplify component replacement and circuitry analysis!
Service Ports, Pressure Switches & Defrost Protection
SERVICE PORTS
– Provided with all Bebco Model TAC Air Conditioner & THP Heat Pump Units
As a primary benefit and value to you, Bebco provides refrigerant service ports on all Bebco Model TAC & THP Through Wall or Window Mount Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps. This provides you with a means to recharge and repair our Units, unlike the majority of other units sold on the market!
PRESSURE SWITCHES
– Provided with all Bebco TAC & THP Units Featuring Smart Cool™ & Smart Pump™ Controls
Units featuring Smart Cool™ & Smart Pump™ Controls feature high and low refrigerant pressure switches to monitor and control critical aspects of operation This feature provides precise unit controls and allows the unit to detect and report any issues with Unit performance.
DEFROST PROTECTION
– Provided with Bebco Model THP Heat Pump Units
Bebco provides this critical function to ensure you never need to worry about your Bebco Model THP Heat Pump unit’s condenser coil freezing, regardless of ambient outdoor air temperatures. We understand that while it may be cold outside, many equipment and analyzer rooms or buildings still require critical heating.
With Bebco, you’ll be getting what you truly require to ensure trouble-free performance year-round!
A quick note regarding Low Ambient Control…
As noted above, all THP Units feature Defrost Control.
However, Bebco Model TAC & THP Units can not be provided with Low Ambient Control.
