Bebco Model TAC Smart Cool™ and THP Smart Pump™ Through Wall & Window Mount Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps are offered in three case styles with optional case and chassis coating options to satisfy your unique and particular applications.
Case Style EC designates a 20 gauge
epoxy painted G90 galvanized steel case and 18 gauge epoxy painted carbon steel stamp-formed chassis, with 20 gauge galvanized steel sub-level chassis brackets, component housings and cover plates. This case style is intended for use in areas with no significant exposure to coastal environments, salt spray, corrosive vapors or volatile gases and liquids.
Case Styles CS and CX designates a 18 gauge 2B finished 304 or 316 grade stainless steel case
with a 14 gauge 304 or 316 grade stainless steel press-formed chassis and 18 gauge 304 or 316 grade stainless steel sub-level chassis brackets, component housings and cover plates. These case styles are specifically intended for use in areas with moderate to significant exposure to coastal environments, salt spray, corrosive vapors or volatile gases and liquids. |
Bebco provides three Smart Cool™ and Smart Pump™ case styles with optional case and chassis
coatings to meet your requirements for passive to extremely corrosive environments.

• Case Style EC
This case style is intended for passive environments. The external case is constructed from 22 gauge epoxy coated carbon steel, and the base is constructed from draw-formed 16 gauge epoxy coated steel. The internal chassis parts including brackets, plates and covers are constructed from 16-22 gauge galvanized steel.
To enhance corrosion resistance, Units with EC Cases may also include optional coil and refrigerant tube coatings.

Optional Features - Case & Chassis Finishes
• Case Styles CS & CX
These case styles are intended for mild to highly corrosive environments. The external case is constructed from 16 gauge 304 or 316 grade stainless steel, and the base is press-formed 16 gauge 304 or 316 grade stainless steel to match the case. The internal chassis parts including brackets, plates and covers are constructed from matching 16-18 gauge 304 or 316 grade stainless steel.
To enhance corrosion resistance, CS and CX Cases can be provided with a spray painted, powder coated or custom finish in any color and paint material, as selected or specified at time of order.
This additional protection will complement Heresite® ES-600 coil and refrigerant tube coatings, provided as a standard feature with these case styles. |
