Bebco Model SAC and SHP Split System Air Conditioner and Heat Pump Condenser Units are offered in three case styles with optional case and chassis coating options to satisfy your unique and particular applications.
Condenser Case Style EC designates a 20 gauge
epoxy painted G90 galvanized steel stamp-formed condenser unit case. This case style is intended for use in areas with no significant exposure to coastal environments, salt spray, corrosive vapors or volatile gases and liquids.
Condenser Case Styles CS and CX designate a 16 gauge 2B finished 304 or 316 grade stainless steel press formed condenser unit case. These case styles are specifically intended for use in areas with moderate to significant exposure to coastal environments, salt spray, corrosive vapors or volatile gases and liquids.
The Evaporator Unit case and chassis, including most interior brackets and framework are formed primarily from impact resistant molded thermoplastic. They are therefore highly corrosion resistant, and feature a minimal but essential number of galvanized steel parts or painted steel parts, including a galvanized steel wall mounting bracket. |

• Condenser Unit Case Style EC
This case style is intended for passive environments. The case and base are constructed from 22 gauge epoxy coated carbon steel. The interior chassis parts, including all brackets, plates and covers are constructed from 16-22 gauge galvanized steel.
The case style also features a thermo-plastic electrical wiring and refrigerant line shroud covers along with a painted steel wire-mesh fan grille.
To enhance corrosion resistance, Units with EC Cases may also include optional coil and refrigerant tube coatings.

Optional Features - Condenser Case Finishes
• Condenser Unit Case Styles CS & CX
These case styles are intended for mild to highly corrosive environments. The case and base, along with all interior brackets and partitions are constructed from 16 gauge 304 or 316 grade stainless steel with a 2B finish, and the mounting feet are formed from 12 gauge 304 or 316 grade stainless steel.
In addition, the electrical wiring and refrigerant line shroud covers and fan grille are also formed from the same grade of stainless steel, as selected at time of order.
To enhance corrosion resistance, CS and CX Cases can be provided with a spray painted, powder coated or custom finish in any color and paint material, as selected or specified at time of order.
This additional protection will complement Heresite® ES-600 coil and refrigerant tube coatings, provided as a standard feature with these case styles.
