Typical Model EAC Enclosure Air Conditioner applications include pressurized and unpressurized enclosures containing electrical, electronic or analytical equipment, where one or more units can work alone, in tandem or redundantly to provide stable and effective cooling.
The stable environment these units create enables the use of sealed housings for motor and pump controls, process controls, analog or solid state relays, variable frequency drives, programmable logic controllers, LED and LCD Displays, electronic monitors, micro-processors, analyzers and similar electronic equipment. These Units are especially essential when equipment cannot be located in a well-ventilated enclosure within a stable climate controlled environment.
Precise temperature control is assured by these extremely efficient units, which perform best on insulated enclosures, especially if the enclosure is located outdoors and subjected to direct sunlight. Their NEMA 4 or 4X construction renders these units safe for all inclement weather and hose-downs of a reasonable nature to keep the units clean and operating efficiently. Routine maintenance, along with an optional standard or high capacity condenser compartment air filter will then be sufficient, even if the units are subjected to moderate or extremely dusty conditions.
Additionally, these units can provide a superior solution to applications in highly corrosive on-shore and off-shore locations by selecting options including 304 or 316 stainless steel corrosion-resistant cases and chassis and corrosion-resistant phenolic Heresite® brand or heat dissipating Luvata® brand coil and refrigerant tubing coatings.
These Units are ETL Listed for use in Class I, Division 2 Group B, C & D Hazardous Classified Locations in their self-contained configuration without the need for purging, as other products may require. However, when combined with an enclosure purging or pressurization system and Bebco’s exclusive line of Purgeable Instrument Access Doors, the use of General Purpose (Unclassified) electronic equipment, monitors, displays and highly sensitive analytical equipment is fully enabled.
Consider Bebco Model EAC Enclosure Air Conditioners as the premier solution for protecting electrical and electronic equipment that generates excessive heat, but must be located within a sealed enclosure to operate in highly corrosive and hazardous classified locations.
