Bebco Explosion-Proof Mini-Split System Air Conditioners and Heat Pump Units are paired unit products offered in 0.75, 1, 1.5, 2, and 3-ton sizes, with Unclassified Location and Class I, Division 2 Group B, C, & D Hazardous Location Condenser and Evaporator Units. They provide room cooling and heating in the most innovative and space-saving configuration available on the market!
These Explosion-Proof Mini-Split units can be placed from 15 to 50 feet apart with standard, extended, or custom length line-sets. Installation is fast and easy, by simply mounting both units, powering the Evaporator Unit, and then connecting a furnished power and signal cable along with a set of insulated refrigerant tubing to the Condenser Unit.
Eco Pump™ Control Systems feature a hand-held remote control that turns the unit on and off, adjusts room temperature and sets fan speed. Smart Pump™ and Smart Cool™ Control Systems feature touch-screen controllers that provide the same functions along with unit diagnostics. These controllers can be pre-mounted under the Evaporator Unit or wall mounted, as determined at time of order. As another benefit, the evaporator unit may be mounted within 2 inches of the ceiling, freeing vital wall area for other equipment and work space!
In addition to our Explosion-Proof Mini-Split units, Bebco can also provide custom units in larger sizes or custom units with multiple channels. These custom units permit one condenser unit to serve multiple evaporator units and provide multi-zone climate control.
